Ryder's new bike!!

Ryder has a new favorite past time....Riding his bike. He would want to ride a big bike, not his tricycle or scooter bike, but Skylar would not let him ride her bike (even though it was too small for her to ride) and he really didn't want to ride a princess bike anyway so Zach had a great idea....He would paint the bike.

New Easter Clothes

I just love new church clothes for my kids!! They always get new ones for Christmas and Easter and I love to do the matchy, matchy thing! I don't know how much longer I will be able to with my girls but I will enjoy while they still let me. It was fun to get matching sweaters for the boys too.

~Rolling EGGS~

Here is another Sherratt tradition, Rolling Eggs!! This year we went to Snow Canyon for a picnic. It was a beautiful day!! We ate our sandwiches and then we went to look for the perfect hill to roll our eggs down. We found a hill, I am not sure it was the perfect hill, but it was good enough for the kids. They had so much fun rolling their eggs down the hill, actually even the adults had fun rolling the eggs. HAHA It ended in a big egg fight by the end but Oh well it was fun!!

Coloring EGGS

One of my favorite things to do at Easter is color eggs!! I didn't do it as a child but Zach's family always did so when I had Saydee we started that tradition. The kids look forward to it every year. This year it was just me and kids, (the kids could not wait for dad to get home) they needed to do it RIGHT NOW!! It was fun as always. It is so funny how the older the kids get, the longer it takes to color eggs. Saydee was the last one done by far, but her eggs sure were pretty!!

Ryder colored all these by himself and did not even spill (We got lucky)

I think this was Saydee's favorite egg, she had a hard time deciding.

Skylar was trying to feed Ridge an egg, I am glad he did not have an allergic reaction!!

LOOK AT THOSE PRETTY EGGS!!

Skylar was so proud of how beautiful her eggs turned out!!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt 2010

Every year for the past 15 years my mom and Kent have put on an Easter Egg hunt for all of their grandkids. It is something that they kids always look forward to. This year they started it a little different, they started it with a short lesson on the reason that we celebrate Easter. They had coloring pages for all the kids and discussed how important the resurrection is in all of our lifes. It was neat to see how much the little children know about our Savior. After that it was on to the eggs!! There was a little snow left on the ground but they managed to find plenty of places to hide the eggs. The kids had so much fun and got a ton of candy. Thanks mom and Kent!!

Ryder found the first egg and stopped to eat they candy. He only ended up with about 5 because he was so excited that they had stuff in them.

Here they kids are with their loot!
