Saydee's Violin Concert

The first of August Saydee started violin lessons from Sara Penny. She has done so good, even if it has been a struggle to get her to practice somedays. She had her first concert last night and she did awesome!! Her teacher said that most kids only do the Twinkles on their first concert. Saydee did 3 Twinkles and 3 other songs, we were so proud of her. We hope that she keeps up the hard work.

Ridge's Blessing

On November 1, 2009 Ridge was blessed by his dad. It was a great day. The spirit was so strong. I was so humble before the meeting even started as I looked at all of our family coming into the chapel and the love I felt from each one of them. Zach's parents, Robby and Camille and their kids and Brittney and Scott were all there. All of my brothers and sisters were there with all of their children and Judy was also there. We missed my mom and Kent but we were all comforted knowing that they are serving our Heavenly Father. Zach gave Ridge a wonderful blessing and the spirit was so strong throughout the whole meeting. I really felt the love of my Heavenly Father. It was a wonderful day.

The Costumes

Saydee wanted to be a witch this year for Halloween, but we could not find a costume that we loved so we threw this one together at the last minute. She is too cute to be a witch!!


Skylar has wanted to be a vampire for months and has never changed her mind so here she is as a scary vampire


Ryder had a very hard time deciding what to be.. First it was Batman and then it was a pirate, then a mummy and then this horse. He ended up being a pirate but this horse costume is the only one that I got a picture of by himself.

Halloween Dinner at the Sherratt's

We got to spend Halloween with our family in St. George. It was so fun to all be together. Sonia made soup for all of us before we went out Trick or Treating. She also helped all the kids make really cute cupcakes. (as if we needed any more sugar) The kids had so much fun together and the weather was beautiful!!

School Halloween Carnival!!

East Elementary always has a really fun Halloween Carnival and we went last year and had a great time. This year with the new baby and I had just had some surgery done on my legs we decided that Zach would take the girls on a daddy daughter date. They had so much fun with him. He is a fun dad and makes his girls feel so special!!! They played the games and ate pizza and won fun prizes. They will probably want him to take them again next year but hopefully we can all go.

Staheli Farms

We have had a family tradition of going to Staheli Farms for 5 years now and it just gets better and better every year!!! Our kids have such a great time every year and this year was no different. We were sad that Ridge was not with us but with all the sickness we thought it was best for him to stay home with grandma and grandpa.


Ryder loves to ride the horse swings, the girls do too but I am only posting a picture of Ryder because it would be picture overload.
