~BuCk FeVeR~

On Wednesday September 29th the muzzle loader deer hunt began.....Zach went out Tuesday night and camped with his dad. Ryder knew that Friday was his big day, for 2 days all he said "Dad and grandpa are finding a big buck so I can go huntin on Friday and help kill it." When Saydee and Skylar would pray for their dad that he would be safe while hunting, right after the prayer Ryder would inform them "Dad and Grandpa are not huntin, I'm their huntin' buddy, you think they go huntin without their huntin' buddy? They are just looking for a deer." This kid is a hoot. Friday finally came and Ryder was fine to wake up at 4:45AM to go out and hunt.

The boys came home empty handed but they had a good time and there is always next year. I sure hope there are some deer left for this little guy when he is old enough to hunt.

Saydee Turns EIGHT!!

Saydee turned 8 on September 30th! She had a great birthday! She wanted some clothes and some jewelry and she got plenty of both.

When Saydee woke up, her room was decorated with balloons and streamers, and she got to open some presents . She wore her new shirt and earrings to school. When she got home, grandma Liz was waiting for her, to take her shopping. She picked out some jewelry. When she got home from shopping Grandma Sherratt and Grandma Hiskey stopped by. Grandma and Grandpa Sherratt gave Saydee some new scriptures and this cute bag to put them in.
Grandma Hiskey gave Saydee a two dollar bill and a nice card.

Here is the birthday girl all ready for School!! We love you Saydee Bug! Happy Birthday!

~Saydee Girl~

On October 9th, Saydee is going to be baptized. She is so excited!!! We went to the St. George Temple grounds last Sunday to take some pictures. They turned out pretty cute. I could post a ton of them.

Saydee is so beautiful and I am so proud of the girl that she is. She is kind and helpful and she is a great friend to everyone. She works really hard at everything she does. She is top of her class at school. She plays the violin very well and has moved into Book 2, which usually takes 2 years to complete and she did it in just over one. She tried out for Mini Company at dance this year and not only made it, but was named caption of the team!! She played soccer and scored goals at almost every game. She has also played machine pitch and hits the ball almost every time.

Most importantly Saydee LOVES the church and she is so excited to get baptized. She sang every word of every song at the primary program today and she has a testimony of our Savior!! She reminds our family of scripture study and always prays. She is a great example to her brothers and sister. I asked her why she wanted to get baptized and she told me because she knows that the church is true. I asked her how she knew and she said because Heavenly Father always answers her prayers. I hope that you never forget that Saydee and that you will always go to your Heavenly Father when you are having a hard time.

We just found out that we get to go to the afternoon session of General Conference next weekend. Zach and I are taking Saydee because she turns 8 on Thursday! I have not been before so it will be a first time for me too! I know that it will be a wonderful experience and I cannot wait. I am so thankful to be a mother and I am so thankful that Heavenly Father has trusted me with his children. There is no JOY like the JOY a child brings into your life. I love you Saydee and I am so happy to be your mom.

Loose Tooth

Skylar went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago and he said she would be toothless by Christmas. He was right. She had been trying to pull a tooth for quite sometime. On Sunday night she pulled and wiggled and pulled and wiggled and........
and let dad pull and wiggle.......

and it came out!!

We've got another CoWbOy!!

It looks as though we have another cowboy on our hands here at the Sherratt household!! Ridge LOVES the horses!! He cannot get enough of them. He makes horse noises from the minute he sees the horse and cries when we leave!! This is at Grandpa Sherratt's house. He didn't have any shoes on but he didn't care he needed to get to those horses!!
