Veyo Pool

A couple of weeks ago we went and met my friend Amanda at the Veyo Pool. It was so fun!! I wish we lived closer to this pool because it is such a fun place to go spend the day. I wanted to go a few more times before summer ended but it didn't happen. Oh well maybe next year.

Ryder gave us a scare as we headed to the car. He decided to go over this bridge and as he stepped down, he fell about 4 feet into the stream. He could of hit his head on numerous things but he was totally unhurt. He was just scared that the crabs were going to get him.

Sea World

It is taking me forever to blog our California vacation. We did go to Sea World for 2 days and the kids had a blast. It was so fun to see all the animals there. Skylar loved the Starfish, Saydee loved Shamu and getting soaked sitting on the 4th row back and Ryder loved the Sea lions. It was so fun and the weather was perfect, it was not too hot.

Snails. Snails and more Snails!!

It rained almost every day we were in California so there were a lot of snails. Everywhere wer went Skylar would find pet snails and want to bring them home. She would take them to the pool and bring them back to the room and put them on the deck. Every morning the first thing she did was check on her snails. She would let them slim up her arm and sit in her hands forever!! I was totally grossed out!! She was heart broken when we would not let her bring them home in the car with us. She actually still cries sometimes about it.

San Diego Temple

The Sunday that we were in California, we decided to go to the temple and walk around the grounds. It was so beautiful and so peaceful. The kids could not believe all the flowers and how big it was.

California 2009

We went to California for 6 days and let me tell you none of us wanted to come home!!! I am usually not a traveler!! I am always ready to come home but I seriously called my mom and started to cry!! What a baby, I know. We had such a great time as a family and it was so relaxing and fun!!! These are some pictures of the kids at the pool at the resort we stayed at. It was paradise!!!
