~Wordless Wednesday~

ABC CLUB

Skylar was put in the "ABC Club" at school. This means that she knows all of her letters and their sounds!! She got a free kids meal at Chili's!! We were so excited for her that we all went to dinner to celebrate!! She is doing so well in Kindergarten. Next goal for her is to get in the Sight Word Club!

~Our Baby is 6 months OLD~

I cannot believe that Ridge is 6 months old!! Where does the time go? He has had a rough couple of weeks. He got a cough and I took him in to the doctor and he had RSV and a double ear infection, he also had a rash. They gave him breathing treatment and an antibiotic but 5 days later I had not seen any improvement so I took him back in to find that his ear infection was worse and so they gave him a rocephin shot. He had to go back for a second dose and they decided to then put him on an oral steroid. He was feeling really good just in time to go to his 6 month appointment and get MORE shots!!! The poor little guy got the biggest knots in his legs that he couldn't move them without screaming. It was so sad. I put a heating pad on them and held him all night long. The next morning he had to go to the dermatologist to see about the rash that has still not gone away!! The dermatologist gave us some more ointment to put on it and hopefully that will take care of the problem.

Violin Festival

On March 6 Saydee performed in her first Violin Festival and she did GREAT!!! Her teacher Sara Penny had a recital to practice the Saturday before,Saydee was pretty nervous but she did an amazing job at both. It was her first time playing solo. She played Oh Come Little Children, a folk song and Allegro by Suzzuki. I think I was more nervous for her because I knew she could do it and I just didn't want her to get in front of all the other people and mess up and she DIDN'T! We are so proud of her and how far she has come in the short time she has been taking lessons.


Not only is she talented but she is Beautiful!!

Valentine's Day!!

Valentines Day this year was a little different. We went to Salt Lake for the Friday and Saturday. Sunday was actually Valentine's Day and it was my parent's homecoming in Parowan. It was a very busy weekend but it was lots of fun to see everyone on both sides of the family. We went to Salt Lake to go to the Wildlife Expo. Zach, Robby and their dad have made it a tradition to go each year and so they were excited to go and see all the cool hunting stuff and put in for a few hunts, that of course they didn't draw. HAHAHA Anyway we had fun just hanging our with Robby and Camille and their family. We also got to go the movie Valentine's Day with Robby and Camille for a little Valentine's Date, thanks to Zach's parents for watching all 8 kids. It was a lot of fun.
